The production, a stage adaptation by Stanley Townsend and Sam Yates from the poem by Paul Muldoon, has played Galway International Arts Festival (2018), The Gate Theatre, Dublin (2019) and the Irish Rep Theatre (2020).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\nIncantata<\/em>\u00a0was written by Pulitzer Prize winning poet Paul Muldoon about the great artist, and his former partner, Mary Farl Powers, who died at the very young age of 43.\u00a0<\/span>This world premiere stage production imagines\u00a0a whole life that is based on Paul Muldoon\u2019s writing and\u00a0it goes beyond that too. It\u2019s a story full of love, full of heartache, full of sadness, and with bitingly funny humour too.<\/span><\/p>\n

The production features a haunting soundtrack\u00a0by\u00a0composer Teho Teardo, who is\u00a0well known to audiences in Ireland for his music with Enda Walsh including\u00a0Ballyturk<\/em>,\u00a0Arlington<\/em>\u00a0and most recently\u00a0Grief is the Thing with Feathers;<\/em>\u00a0set design by\u00a0Rosanna Vize; lighting design by the multi-award winning\u00a0designer Paul Keogan; cutting-edge video design by Jack Phelan and sound design by\u00a0Sin\u00e9ad Diskin.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t
